Adult Nurse Practitioner/Owner

​Dr. Willa Arnet, DNP, ANP-BC

Medicine is not only a profession; it is also a calling and a commitment to serve the community.

Introducing Dr. Arnet, an accomplished Adult Health Nurse Practitioner with a rich and diverse career spanning over 25 years in Buffalo. Dr. Arnet, a highly experienced and compassionate nurse practitioner with a focus on adults in a variety of settings. Arnet's diverse expertise includes roles as a medical officer of the day, community health, long term care, subacute care, rapid response team and primary care. Her commitment to community health is delivering primary care both in clinics and in the homes of patients.

 

While pursuing her education at D'Youville College, Dr. Arnet simultaneously worked as a nurse assistant at Columbus Hospital. In 1993, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Nursing and became a Registered Nurse. Her commitment to advancing her knowledge and skills led her to achieve a Master's Degree in Adult Health Nurse Practitioner from the University at Buffalo in 1998. Undeterred in her pursuit of excellence, Dr. Arnet completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice and Adult Gerontology from UB in 2017.

 

Dr. Arnet's dedication to serving extends beyond the civilian sphere; she proudly served 15 years in the United States Army Reserves. Beginning as a Combat Medic, she later transitioned to the Army Nurse Corps, achieving the highest rank of Captain. Her service included roles in General Support Hospitals (GSH) and Combat Support Hospitals (CSH) units, showcasing her commitment to providing care in diverse and challenging environments.

 

Dr. Arnet is not only a healthcare professional but a community advocate dedicated to making a positive impact. Importantly, she is the proud mother of a daughter attending Georgetown University Law Center and a son in the MD/PhD program at Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

​LPN/ Health Information Technician

​Ann Sherry, LPN, BS

Meet Ann Sherry, a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse with an impressive career spanning over 16 years. Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Ann's commitment to healthcare led her to earn her LPN at Trocaire College in 2007. Her passion for learning and dedication to the field continued as she pursued and achieved a Bachelor's degree in Science for Healthcare Informatics in 2017. 

 

Throughout her career, Ann has gained valuable experience in various healthcare settings, including long-term care, subacute rehabilitation, pediatrics, methadone clinics, and community health nursing. Each of these diverse experiences has played a pivotal role in Ann's growth as a nurse, enhancing her ability to deliver the highest level of care to her patients. Currently, Ann proudly contributes her skills and expertise as a vital member of Adult Health NP House Calls, P.C. 

 

Ann's primary goal as a nurse is to make a positive impact on as many lives as possible, particularly in disadvantaged communities in western New York. She firmly believes that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare and is committed to bridging the gap in healthcare disparities. Beyond her professional endeavors, Ann finds joy in spending quality time with her family and indulging in her hobbies, such as listening to music and watching movies. These activities not only help her maintain a healthy work-life balance but also rejuvenate her spirit. 

 

In addition to her nursing career, Ann actively serves as an usher at her church. Ann Sherry is not just a nurse; she is a compassionate healthcare professional, community advocate, and dedicated member of the Buffalo community, making a positive impact on the lives of those she serves.
